Educational Field Trips

Seward Farms is following CDC Guidelines to give our teachers and students the safest field trip while visiting the farm.

Educational school tours and field trips include time in the corn maze, a pig race, a wagon ride and much more at Seward Farms in Lucedale, Mississippi, just west of Mobile, Alabama.

Educational field trips and school tours to the farm are more important today than ever before, as fewer children live on a farm or have any other opportunity to see how plants and animals are grown for food.

And Seward Farms is an ideal classroom! This is a 4th generation, working family farm with over 5,000 acres. We grow cotton, peanuts, grain and beef cattle, and, of course, corn.

Treat your students to an unforgettable field trip that offers an “Agriculture in the Classroom” opportunity.  With a goal to provide fun and educational activities for the community, we’ll expose your students to “agriculture in the process” in a way that makes memories that will last a lifetime.

We are continually growing and making improvements, and strive to make every year a new and different experience.
